Curriculum

During the upper school years, the computer becomes an indispensable tool for communication and collaborative learning. Curriculum specific software is employed daily in a variety of academic disciplines and the internet becomes a "given" in a student's academic life.
With increased access to technology resources comes greater responsibility and accountability in how those resources are employed, also part of effective teaching of technology use.
The laptop program in the Upper School reinforces computing skills learnt throughout the years in Lower and Middle School, and focuses on developing reliance on instruction through application. The Upper School is also where students can explore their interest in Computer Science through courses offered in advanced programming languages and methodologies.
