Kick-Off!

[November 2011] The 2011-2012 ‘Wick Annual Fund' had its official kick-off in early November during the two-night Phonathon when almost 50 volunteer fathers got together at the Upper School cafeteria to reach out to fellow parents to communicate the Annual Fund message. Bill Schneider, Annual Fund Chairman, is back for the 2nd year of his term, and is determined to surpass dollars raised, as well as the 99% parent participation rate achieved last year. Congratulations and thank you again to those who helped us reach that record-setting participation rate last year! We already have 100% participation from the Board of Trustees as well as from Faculty and Staff, so let’s keep the momentum going! Click here for a list of Class Captains who will be working with Bill this year.

The annual appeal letters, accompanied by an appeal brochure, were sent out in mid-October and explain the importance of the Annual Fund and the impact it has on every boy and every teacher at Brunswick. If you haven’t already received a follow up phone call from a fellow parent to answer any additional questions you may have regarding the Annual Fund, you should be receiving one shortly.

Gifts to the ‘Wick Annual Fund can be made by credit card, check, online, or by transferring stock. If you choose to transfer stock, please contact the Development Office for transfer forms. Also, please remember that matching gifts significantly enhance your contribution. Click here to determine if your employer participates in a matching gift program. Annual Fund Chart

[March 2012]  Each year we strive to increase the rate of participation in the ‘Wick Annual Fund. For the last 3 years we have achieved 99% overall parent participation rate, an impressive accomplishment. This year we are hoping to reach 100%, but we can’t do it without your support. Please take a look at the below chart which shows where each classes’ rate of participation stands as of early March. Please contact Krista Bruce, Director of Annual Giving, to make your gift today and help us reach our goal!

Although the participation chart only reflects parent giving, Brunswick thanks parents, alumni, parents of alumni, and friends for their support of the ‘Wick Annual Fund each year. The chart below the parent participation chart reflects annual giving over the last several years, a testament to the dedication of the whole Brunswick community.
