Upper School Teams

The interscholastic sports offered in Upper School include baseball, basketball, crew, cross country, fencing, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, sailing, soccer, squash, tennis, track, water polo, and wrestling. The Bruins teams have a longstanding tradition of success which has earned them regional and nationwide recognition. Many Brunswick coaches are also teachers offerring the boys a chance to enrich their rapport with individual faculty.

Each Upper School student signs up for one sport during each season. In the ninth grade all boys play three seasons of an interscholastic sport. Depending on individual preference in tenth and eleventh grades, a student may choose an intramural sport for one of the other two seasons. Seniors are required to participate in only one season of interscholastic sports but are required to participate in our intramural program or may pursue an alternate athletic activity during the other two seasons. The alternate athletic activity must be approved by the Athletic Director.
