Math Team
The Middle School Math Club meets weekly with a focus on developing students’ problem solving skills. The meetings also serve as preparation for math competitions with other schools. The Math Club provides students who love Math (at all levels of ability) and who enjoy competition and a chance to hone their skills in a friendly (sometimes snack rich) environment with friends who also love Math! Members from the math club are selected to represent Brunswick at the annual Math Counts competition at Farirfield University. In the Spring of 2007 Brunswick competed with over 40 teams from Fairfield County. Both Peter Brown and Peter Gatto qualified for the 2007 Connecticut State Math Counts competitions held in Hartford in March 2007.
