Big Brother / Little Brother
What could be better than an Upper School student coming over to the Lower School to play catch? The Lower School little brother feels very important to have the one-on-one attention and the Upper
School student feels like an instant hero. The Big Brother/Little Brother program has existed for several generations of students, so many Upper Schoolers remember the joy of having a Brunswick big brother. Leslie Anderson, the school psychologist in charge of Student Services, administers the program. After interviewing the Upper School boy and getting to know the Lower School boy, she sets up pairs of big brothers/little brothers who share interests or have other common ties. It is a tribute to the program that there is always a large pool of Upper School boys applying to be big brothers.
