The Middle School has a vibrant and fully engaged community service program. Beginning our service year with an all -school community service day, we work with over twenty-eight sites in the area, from soup kitchens to pre-schools to senior centers, providing real solutions to common problems. Although the eighth grade is the most fully developed program, going out to their sites every month, this year grades five through seven will adopt a community service site and send advisories out on a regular basis.
The fifth grade will be associated with the Family Center of Greenwich, a group of pre-school and early grade centers. The sixth and seventh grade will take responsibility for individual classrooms at Holy Rosary School in Port Chester, providing a reading program on Friday afternoons. Every student in our school will thus have extended opportunities to serve the community, "reaching out to the world beyond Brunswick."
