Dear parents of Upper School French language students:
I wanted to apprise you of an opportunity for your sons to enrich their French language experience by considering some time spent in a school in Paris, specifically
L’Ecole Alsacienne. This school was visited by our Modern Languages Department Chair, Mr. Jacques Bouffier, last summer, and he fully supports and endorses their program.
I invite you to explore their web page: www.ecole-alsacienne.org. Although the students might be apprehensive of how much they might miss from their regular academic life and other interests here at home, one suggestion you might consider, and hence this letter at this early date, is taking a week or two in early March next year and extending the visit in Paris to include Brunswick’s spring vacation. The school will also consider shorter 2 week visits which could be done at any time. As is true of most exchange programs, there is an element of reciprocity involved whereby the Brunswick student would be expected to host the student here for the same amount of time.
In addition, we have recently had a request from a family in Paris who is interested in pursuing an exchange (non-academic) program for the month of July, 2007. We do not know this family thus we cannot as a school endorse them in any way, but we thought it might be of interest to some members of our community who do not yet have any specific plans for this summer and might want to consider this option. We would suggest that you contact the family directly if this were to be of interest, be it for this summer, or potentially for 2008. See below for the original email request.
Finally, we are building a library of brochures and catalogs, as well as websites for programs abroad. If I can be of any assistance in this area, do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

Nous sommes Français habitant à 10 minutes de Paris et nous voudrions envoyer nos enfants aux USA dans une famille pour perfectionner leur Anglais.(En Juillet.)Ce pourrait être un échange avec d'autres enfants.Les nôtres ont 15 et 16 ans ( Fille et garçon) Y aurait-il une possibilité à travers votre établissement?
