Fees & Financial Aid

Tuition and Fees

Brunswick’s tuition fee includes all courses, most athletics, lunch and other activities normally offered to all students or to an entire grade. Charges are made for field trips and optional activities for which the school incurs additional expenses. In addition, Upper and Middle School students are expected to purchase textbooks and instructional materials. Tuition obligations are incurred for the full year. Tuition charges are billed in two installments payable in May and December. Brunswick offers tuition financing, loan programs, monthly payment plans and tuition insurance plans.

Financial Aid

Brunswick’s financial aid program is designed to help the School enroll talented students who might otherwise be unable to attend Brunswick.

Financial aid is a key component in the School’s ability to achieve a bright, culturally and economically diverse community of students. Financial aid is granted on the basis of demonstrated need for tuition and other charges, such as field trips.

The financial aid process is totally confidential. It includes the submission of a Parents’ Financial Statement (the PFS) with School and Student Service for Financial Aid (“SSS”). SSS is an independent organization that aids in the evaluation of need for financial assistance.

The SSS form also requires that each family submit its most recent federal tax return with all schedules and W-2 forms. These forms must be resubmitted on an annual basis to maintain eligibility for financial aid. The final determination of aid is made by Brunswick’s financial aid committee.  Visit the SSS website for more information.

Families should indicate on the application form if they will need financial aid. Financial aid paperwork will be mailed after December 15th. Questions about financial aid should be directed to Jeff Harris, Director of Admission and Financial Aid, 203-625-5842.
