Spanish

The teaching of Spanish language and culture begins in pre-kindergarten and is continued through grade four. The program and philosophy stress developing conversational ability and cultural understanding at a young age. Daily instruction is content-related with emphasis placed upon listening and speaking. The goal of our Lower School foreign language program is to help our students realize that learning a foreign language is an exciting and fun experience which involves both linguistic skills and cultural ideas.
